When a new user is added to Reportql, they will be asked to create a password as part of their initial account setup. It is very important that users create a strong password that meets the following criteria:
– Complexity: Contains a mix of upper and lower case letters, numbers and special characters.
– Uniqueness: Do not reuse passwords from other accounts.
– Length: Make sure the password is at least 8 characters long, although longer is generally safer.
These instructions are designed to help administrators and new users navigate the initial setup process in Reportql and provide safe and efficient access to the platform.
To add a new user to your Reportql account, follow these steps to ensure correct setup and access permissions:
1. Log In: First, log in to your Reportql account with your admin credentials.
2. Go to the Users area: Find the users section, which provides management of user accounts.
3. Add New User: Click the ‘Add New User’ button or link. This will open a window where you can enter the new user’s details.
4. Enter User Information: Fill in the required information for the new user, including name, email address, and role in Reportql. The role you assign will determine the level of access and permissions the user will have.
5. Save: Once all the details have been entered and the authority has been selected, click on the ‘Save’ button to complete the addition of the new user.
